Chinese meat balls rolled in sweet rice and steamed.
1 1/2 c. sweet rice
1 lb. ground pork
1 c. water chestnuts, chopped fine
MIXTURE INGREDIENTS:
1 tsp. salt or soy - 2 tbl. soy
+ 1 tbl.water
2 tsp. ginger-garlic mix
1/2 scallion, chopped fine
1 tbl. ginger wine
1 tsp. fagara pepper
2-3 tbl. corn starch paste
1 scallion, cut in 1/4" pcs.
1 recipe master sauce
- Soak rice overnight and drain.
- Chop chestnuts and scallion very fine, put in egg.
- Mix your mixture ingredients into your ground pork. Mix well.
- Roll into golf ball size meat balls.
- Lay towel on table and spread rice. roll your meat balls in rice till well covered. Put on platter or steamer 40 to 50 minutes.
