1 lb. T.R. steak julienned

3 medium carrots julienned fine
1 tbl. tree ear mushrooms
½ c. water chestnuts chopped fine
2 tbl. dark soy
1 c. broth

SAUCE:

1 tbl. hunan chili sauce
1 tbl. hoisin sauce
2 tbl. sesame oil
  1. Cut up beef and marinate. Julienne carrots.
  2. Soak tree ears. Chop.
  3. Assemble sauce.
  4. Stir fry carrots 1 minute. Set aside to cool. It is important that carrots are cold when put back with meat.
  5. Stir fry beef 2 minutes. Add 2 tbl. dark soy plus mushrooms. Cook 2 minutes uncovered then add shredded carrots. Mix well. Add sauce. Cook 1 minute. Thicken.

NOTE:

Meat is main item in this dish. Carrots, if to many, will change the taste.
