2 ti gwa melons (fuzzy melons) cut to the size of pineapple chunks

1/2 lb. beef steak cubed(like carrots)
1 can straw mushrooms
1/2 cup water chestnuts
1 whole scallion cut in 1/2" pieces

SAUCE

1 tbl. chilli sauce
1 tbl. chilli and garlic sauce
2 tbl. sesame oil
1 1/2 cup broth
corn starch paste (thin) + 1/3 cup water
  1. Peel melon like you would an apple. Lay out steaks and cut strips both ways so you get carrot size cubes and then marinate.
  2. Assemble straw mushrooms, water chestnuts, scallions and sauce ingredients.
  3. Fry beef 1 minute and then add sauce ingredients then add melon. Mix well, then add vegetables, then the broth, cover and cook for 1 minute. Thicken. Serve over rice.

NOTE

For added flavor you can add a small can of plum tomatoes, crushed + 2 tbl. fish sauce (anchovy water).
