1 duck, quartered or halved
1 large onion
4 pcs. ginger, 25¢ size
1 tsp. sugar
2 tbl. light soy
1 c. white wine
- Marinate duck in chicken marinade.
- Cut up onions, ginger and mix with soy, wine, and sugar.
- Put duck in platter. Cover with wine sauce and steam 1 hour. Every 15 minutes uncover and baste duck with wine sauce.
- When duck is finished put on platter. Thicken wine sauce and sprinkle on finely chopped scallions and if desired garnish with broccoli.
