1 stick butter or margarine

8 carrots, diced
4 celery sticks, dried
2 leeks, diced
4 cups pumpkin puree
8 cups chicken stock
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt

Melt butter. Saute leek, carrots, and celery until soft. Add pumpkinm broth, salt and pepper. Cover, and simmer 1/2 hour. Put through cuisinart.
