1/2 lb. round steak, julienned or cubed

6-8 kirby cukes or small zucchini, cut in half lengthwise and sliced
1 red pepper, julienned
1 c. broth

SAUCE:

2 tbl. oyster sauce
2 tbl. dark soy
2 tbl. sesame oil
2 tbl. bean sauce, sweet or hot
  1. Cut beef and marinate in dark soy, regular marinade recipe.
  2. Cut up kirby cukes lengthwise. Slice and set aside.
  3. Assemble sauce ingredients and set aside.
  4. Cut up pepper and set aside.
  5. Fry beef about 1 minute. Add sauce ingredients and mix well. Take out of wok and set aside.
  6. Fry peppers and kirby cukes about 1 minute. Add beef, mix well and add a cup of broth. Cover and cook about 2 minutes. Remove, cover, and thicken slightly with corn starch paste, not to thick. Serve over noodles.
