1/2 lb. round steak, julienned or cubed
6-8 kirby cukes or small zucchini, cut in half lengthwise and sliced
1 red pepper, julienned
1 c. broth
SAUCE:
2 tbl. oyster sauce
2 tbl. dark soy
2 tbl. sesame oil
2 tbl. bean sauce, sweet or hot
- Cut beef and marinate in dark soy, regular marinade recipe.
- Cut up kirby cukes lengthwise. Slice and set aside.
- Assemble sauce ingredients and set aside.
- Cut up pepper and set aside.
- Fry beef about 1 minute. Add sauce ingredients and mix well. Take out of wok and set aside.
- Fry peppers and kirby cukes about 1 minute. Add beef, mix well and add a cup of broth. Cover and cook about 2 minutes. Remove, cover, and thicken slightly with corn starch paste, not to thick. Serve over noodles.
