1 lb. beef steak
8 mushrooms, chopped
2 tbl. fresh chopped ginger
1 scallion, cut 1" pcs.
1 c. hoisin orange sauce
3/4 c. water chestnuts
2 c. fresh broccoli, optional.
3/4 c. broth or master sauce, if needed
- Cut up and marinate beef.
- Soak mushrooms, cut up scallions, and cut up ginger.
- Par boil broccoli, if using, 1 minute.
- Make hoisin orange sauce and master sauce.
- Fry meat, add scallions and ginger. Mix well.
- Add hoisin orange sauce, cover 1 minute, then broccoli. Thicken, serve. Master sauce can be added if more gravy is desired.
NOTE:
You can make 2 c. master sauce.
Add 1 tbl. hoisin
1/2 c. orange juice
