1 lb. thin beef steak (top round)

3 slices ginger, julienned, diced
2 tbl. dark soy
1 red pepper, shredded
1 clove garlic, shredded

SATE SAUCE:

2 tbl. sate paste (sold in jars)
1/2 tsp. chef chow
1/2 tsp. sugar
4 tbl. broth

OPTIONAL SAUCE:

6 tbl. chef chow
4 tbl. black bean paste
1/2 jar sate paste
1 tsp. sesame oil
4 tbl. dark soy
  1. Marinate the beef in regular marinade and add shredded ginger-garlic. Mix well.
  2. Cut up peppers. Set aside.
  3. Mix sate sauce ingredients.
  4. Fry meat 1 minute with ginger and garlic, add sate sauce. Cook 2 minutes.
  5. Add peppers, cover 1 minute. Mix well. Serve over noodles.

The optional sauce should be well blended and jarred.
