1 lb. top round steak, 1/4" thick

3 tbl. finely chopped ginger
1 tbl. garlic powder
or 4 cloves, chopped
3 tbl. sesame oil
3 tsp. Hunan chili - onion sauce
1 tbl. hoisin sauce
2 tbl. dark soy
2 tsp. rice vinegar
1 whole scallion, 1" pcs.
3 /4 c. broth
1 red pepper
1/2 portion corn starch paste
  1. Julienne beef and marinate.
  2. Mix garlic and chop ginger in meat marinade.
  3. Assemble all ingredients plus 1/2 the broth.
  4. Chop scallions, julienne peppers.
  5. Heat wok very hot. Take off stove and add oil. Swish so all surface is wet, then add half the beef. Fry 30 seconds. Reheat wok and finish meat.
  6. Add scallions and peppers, 1/2 minute. Add balance of broth, thicken. Serve over snow peas.
