1 Cup shelled walnuts
4 Tsp. sugar
2 Cups water
1 Chicken breast cut up and marinated one hour
6-8 Water chestnuts

SAUCE:

1 Tsp. oyster sauce
1 Tsp. soy sauce
1/2 Cup broth
  1. Marinate chicken 1 hour. Set aside.
  2. Bring 2 cups water and 4 Tsp sugar to the boil, add walnuts. Cook 2 minutes and drain.
  3. Heat wok and fry walnuts till color changes. Set aside.
  4. Mix sauce. Set aside.
  5. Fry chicken in medium heat, add walnuts, cook 3 minutes.
  6. Add sauce mix till well heated.
  7. Add corn starch paste just enough to dry up the sauce.

NOTE: 1 tsp. hoisin sauce can be added to walnuts while frying them.
