1 chicken cut up 8-12 pieces
1/2 tsp. 5 spice
1 tbl. tangerine or orange peel. (soaked 2 hours)
1 sm. onion chopped fine
1 tbl. fresh chopped ginger
3 tbl. soy
1 tsp. sugar
1 head broccoli (floweret's)
2 cup broth
  1. Marinade chicken with 5 spice, tangerine, soy, onion, ginger, wine and sugar. Let stand 1-2 hours. Rub in good.
  2. Take chicken and steam 45 minutes. Keep marinate in separate bowl. Let chicken cool.
  3. Put 2 cups oil in wok or pot. Pat chicken dry then deep fry till brown 2-3 minutes.
  4. Par boil broccoli and arrange on platter. Put chicken in the center.
  5. Reheat wok, add marinade and broth then add cornstarch paste till slightly thick.
  6. Pour over chicken. Serve.
