3-4 soft dou foo (bean cake)
1/2 lb. ground meat
+ 4 tbl. corn starch
1 tbl. fresh ginger
1 green scallion chopped fine
3 tbl. light soy
1 tbl. sesame oil
2 tsp. ginger-garlic mix
1 recipe master sauce
- Cut bean cake into 4 diamond shapes. Pull out centers. Set aside to dry 1 hour.
- Assemble all other ingredients, mix well.
- Assemble master sauce.
- Stuff meat into pockets then either:
- Pan fry - 15 minutes
- Steam - 10 minutes
- Deep fry - 2 minutes
- When all cooked, heat sauce, thicken, pour over bean curd.
