6 bean cakes
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 scallion, chopped fine
MARINADE:
1 tbl. garlic
1 tbl. ginger
1/2 tsp. fagara
1 tbl. garlic oil
SAUCE:
3 tbl. oyster sauce
2 tbl. dark soy
1 tbl. sesame oil
1 tsp. hot bean sauce
1 tsp. sweet bean sauce
1 c. broth + 1/2 tsp. sugar
- Make a pocket in each bean cake.
- Marinate the pork, mix well, add scallions, mix well.
- Stuff mixture into bean cake, deep fry bean cake 2 at a time till lightly brown.
- Assemble sauce ingredients and heat.
- Add bean cakes to sauce. Cover and cook 2 minutes. Take out cakes, thicken sauce, pour over bean cake. Serve with rice.
