2 medium cukes
1/2 lb. ground pork
Corn starch for dusting
1 tsp. sesame oil
MIX #1:
1 tbl. wine
2 tsp. soy
1/2 tsp. sugar
MIX #2:
2 tbl. wine
3 tbl. soy
1/4 tsp. salt (l.s.)
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. broth
- Cut off ends of cukes and cut into 1 1/2" rounds, then core out the center leaving a barrel like vegetable.
- Mix ground pork with mix #1, then stuff meat mix into cuke holes and dust each side with corn starch.
- Heat oil for deep frying and fry for 3 minutes.
- Put mix #2, plus 1 cup broth, then add broth, mix well, then add cukes standing up. Baste and fry over medium heat 5 minutes. Sprinkle with sesame, serve.
