1 lb. ground pork
1 lb. round turkey
3 tbl. light soy
2 tbl. sesame oil
2 tbl. ginger-garlic mix
6 tbl. level tapioca starch
1 large onion chopped very fine (food processor or blender)
3 cups oil for deep frying
BATTER:
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup tapioca starch
1 egg
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. corn oil
Water to pancake consistency
- Mix both meats, oil, soy, ginger-garlic mix, tapioca, mix well to form a meatloaf.
- Assemble batter let stand 1/2 hour. Process onion then add to batter.
- Form meat mix into meatballs, roll into batter. Then transfer to wok with 3 cups oil. Deep fry till crispy - serve as is or with master sauce.
