1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 lb. ground chicken or turkey
1/2 lb. bak choi, chopped fine
2 stalks celery, chopped medium
1 scallion chopped fine
Tapioca starch to mix in meat
2 tbl. soy
2 tsp. sesame oil
2 c. master sauce
- Mix all meats together. Mix well.
- Add cabbage, celery, soy, sesame, scallion.
- Mix all well.
- Form into meat balls, medium size.
- Line steam dish with bak choi leaves (green).
- Lay meat balls on leaves and steam 45 minutes.
- Heat master sauce, thicken to taste.
- Pour 3 to 4 tbl. master sauce on meat balls while they are steaming.
- When done, put on platter, pour gravy over.
Good with mixed greens.
