1 lb. ground pork
1 tbl. chopped scallion
1/2 tsp. chopped ginger
1/4 tsp. chopped garlic
1 egg
1 tbl. wine
1 tsp. salt
1 tbl. sesame oil
2 tbl. flour
2 tbl. corn starch
1 basket brussel sprouts
Salt
SAUCE:
5 tbl. sugar
4 tbl. vinegar
3 tbl. dark soy
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. wine
1/2 c. water or broth
corn starch paste to taste
Mix all ingredients and form balls. Heat oil to 360¡ and fry till brown. Discard oil. Boil sprouts, covered, 8 minutes and add salt.
Garnish with pineapples, peppers, onions to taste. If not using sweet and sour sauce take 1 cup sprout broth, 2 tsp. soy, 1 tbl. oyster sauce, corn starch paste, heat and mix all ingredients.
