1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground turkey
2 tsp. ginger-garlic mix
2 tbl. dark soy
2 tbl. sesame oil
4 tbl. corn starch
2 c. bread crumbs
Oil for deep frying
SAUCE:
3 tbl. chopped orange peels
3 tbl. hoisin sauce
2 tbl. Szechwan bean sauce
1/2 c. broth
1/2 c. orange juice or apple juice
- Mix all ingredients except bread crumbs well. Make meatballs. Store in refrigerator 1/2 hour.
- Heat oil, not to hot.
- Dip meatballs in bread crumbs & fry till lightly brown. When all done reheat wok very hot. Fry meatballs again.
- Heat sauce and pour over meat balls on platter.
