1/2 lb. rd. steaks coarsely chopped and marinated
1 tbl. India curry
1 scallion chopped fine or small onion
1 tbl. hoisin sauce
1 tbl. sesame oil
2 tbl. dark soy
1 pkg. shomai wrappers or egg rolls cut in won-ton square
1 egg

DIP:

  1. Coarsely chop beef and marinate.
  2. Chop scallions/onions fine.
  3. Fry beef 2 minutes then add scallions or onions. Mix well.
  4. Add remaining ingredients, mix well. Cover 2 minutes.
  5.  Thicken if necessary.
  6. Beat egg. Let cool.
  7. Heat wok. Add 2-3 c. oil and 3 tbl. sesame oil.
  8. Fill shomai with 1 tbl. of mixture.
  9. Seal wrappers when full. Seal like won-ton (crescent style).
  10. Deep fry till crispy. Serve with dip.
