1/2 lb. beef tenderloin or minute steak

2 carrots, julienned
1 large stalk celery, julienned
1 small can abalone mushrooms, chopped fine

SAUCE:

1 tbl. chili oil
1 tbl. sweet bean sauce
1 tbl. hoisin sauce
1 tbl. sesame oil
3/4 c. broth
  1. Cut up and marinate beef. Slice carrots in half, lengthwise, julienne. Do the same with the celery. Assemble sauce ingredients.
  2. Chop mushrooms, not to fine. Soak in cold water. Drain
  3. Fry beef 1/2 minute. Add carrot, mix well. Add mushrooms, then the sauce. Cover, cook 1 minute. Thicken if necessary. Serve over rice.
