2 hard bean cake

1 tbl. ginger-garlic mix
2 tbl. Szechwan hot bean paste
1 c. finely diced beef
3/4 c. broth
1 tbl. soy
1 tbl. sesame oil
1 whole scallion, cut 1/2" pcs.
3 c. frying oil

Cut bean cake into triangles, about 9 to each cake. Cut up beef and marinate 15 minutes. Deep fry bean cake a few at a time till all are done nice and brown. Stir fry beef about 1/2 minute. Add bean sauce, ginger-garlic mix, soy sesame, and then the broth. Cover, cook 1 minute. Thicken slightly. Put bean cake on plate lengthwise. Pour meat mixture over bean cake. Sprinkle with scallions. Serve with rice.
