1/2 lb. ground pork
8 water chestnuts
1 red or green frying pepper
1 very small onion
1 tbl. ginger-garlic mix
1 whole scallion
2 small chili peppers (optional)
1/2 orange peel, chopped very fine
+ 3 cloves garlic
1 pkg. rice or cello noodles
1/2 c. corn starch paste
SAUCE:
2 tbl. soy
1 tbl. hoisin
1 tbl. chef chow
3/4 c. broth
- Marinate pork, chop vegetables, soak noodles.
- Boil orange peel, chop garlic, assemble sauce.
- Fry chili, orange, garlic over medium heat in oil.
- Discard orange, garlic, then fry pork in oil.
- Add sauce ingredients to pork, mix well.
- Strain noodles, add to pork, mix well.
- Fry peppers 1 minute, covered, mix into mix and serve.
