2 1/2 lbs. mixed lamb & beef cubes
3 carrots, cut in 3 pcs.
1/2 lb. white radish, cut in 1" cubes

STEW SAUCE:

1 tbl. Malaysian curry
1 tsp. 5 spice
1 tbl. black bean paste
1 tsp. chili oil
  1. Trim meat. Put in plastic bag that has 5 tbl. corn starch + 1 tbl. garlic powder.
  2. Shake well, be sure meat is well covered. Set aside.
  3. Dice vegetables. Set aside.
  4. Assemble stew sauce. Set aside.
  5. Brown meat in 1/2 c. corn oil, brown well.
  6. Drain wok, add 3 tbl. fresh garlic oil. Heat then add meat and vegetables plus 1 c. of stew sauce. Cover 2 minutes then add balance of stew sauce. Cover, cook 1 hour. Thicken slightly.
