1/2 lb. medium-large shrimp
1/2 lb. bacon
1 egg

SAUCE:

3 tbl. sweet bean sauce or hoisin
4-5 tbl. ketchup
1/2 tsp. Hunan paste (hot)
3/4 c. broth
  1. Clean and marinate shrimp. Brush on garlic oil.
  2. Beat egg. Trim bacon.
  3. Assemble sauce ingredients.
  4. Brush shrimp with egg then wrap bacon around shrimp. Pan fry.
  5. Make sauce, thicken.
  6. Put shrimp on platter. Cover with sauce. Sprinkle on scallions.
