1 lb. sugar
4 oz shortening
1 oz. salt
1/4 qt. eggs
1 lb. yeast dough (see donut recipe)
flavors (vanilla, lemon, etc,)
4 lbs. flour
3-1/2 oz. baking powder
1 qt. water
  1. Cream sugar, shortening, salt, eggs, yeast dough, and desired flavor together on slow.
  2. Add flour, baking powder and water and mix until dough forms.
  3. Roll dough and then cut until strips.  Twist strips and then connect ends to form kruller.
  4. Let rise a little
  5. Fry at 350 degrees.
  6. optional:  dust with cinnamon/sugar mixture while hot..
